I was born in the 80's and I live in New Zealand. My purpose when writing here is to share stories and poems, and to offer thought-provoking perspectives without trying to change anyone's mind or convert them to my way of thinking. Anything posted here is from my own viewpoint and I'm not trying to speak for, or on behalf of, anyone else. If you connect with it, wonderful! If not, great!

Here are a few facts about me:

I'm a cisgender female and my pronouns are she/her. I'm also a demisexual bisexual in a long-term relationship with a cisgender heterosexual male, and the both of us are very good friends with my intersex male-presenting ex-husband. My friends are LGBTQIA+ and I am a safe person to speak to.

I've been gaming since I was two, and now I stream on Twitch when I can under the name Kunovix. I've won some local gaming competitions in the past though I'm definitely not a competitive player now.

I struggle constantly with mentally disability and low energy levels. I've been diagnosed ADHD and Bipolar II, and I have successfully dealt with parental narcissism, C-PTSD, and a lot of anxieties.

Food and nutrition is a passion of mine. When I eat well it improves my mental health too. I like to share what I cook and eat so others can see how I do it on a very limited budget, but I also spend too much on dining out when I can, usually with half-price food vouchers whenever possible. I'm gluten-intolerant which limits my fast food options.

Other hobbies I enjoy are singing, playing piano, riding horses (though I haven't for years now), binge-watching shows, and nature walks. I like pets, gardening and permaculture, long-term sustainability methods, stargazing, science articles, medieval feasting, and amateur phone photography. We have an indoor-only, 100% raw fed cat and a few ducks in the backyard that give us eggs sometimes.

Personally I'm Christian, but I'm against organised religion and most of my beliefs were formed well after I left the church. I'm very open-minded and non-judgmental, and have friends of many other denominations and belief systems. Cults and religions fascinate me, as do mythologies, origin stories, and traditional cultural belief systems.

I'm connected with people involved with business networking, kink & lifestyle groups, and the furry community.

My history and viewpoints are complex, but I'm not. I'm a simple, loving, peaceful foxgirl not afraid to stand up and fight for my friends and everyone's right to be human.

The Baby Spider's Web

Transcription: A message to any who feel they are unnoticed and unappreciated: Once upon a time there was a baby spider, not much bigger than the period at the end of this sentence. And so begins 2024

With 2023 being so horrible overall, ending in homelessness for us, and seeming to be a fairly bad year for pretty much everyone I've talked to, it could be tempting to start 2024 either with an outright negative outlook, or the rock-bottom optimism of, "it can't get any worse."  However, not even one full day into the new year, I'm feeling overwhelmed by kindness, support, encouragement, and an affirmation that I'm a good and decent person others believe is worth investing in. For a start, a couple of friends have once again lent their financial support to us. I'll call them Sean, Larry, and Tim. Each gave to a varying degree, but no donation was less appreciated. Sean even went above and beyond, telling us that since WINZ wasn't going to give us any accommodation supplement, he was going to give us a good chunk of what they gave him instead in a defiant "pay-it-forward" gesture.
